CITY OF DECATUR,ILLINOIS ! <br /> CITY PROJECT 96-_- FEASIBILITY STUDY OF LAKE DECATUR �I <br /> WATERSHED MANAGEMENT ALTERNATIVES <br /> CONSULTING SERVICES AGREEMENT �� <br /> THISAGREEMENT is made this�day of��-�����-, 1996, by and between <br /> the City of Decatur, Illinois, hereinafter referred to as the CITY, and Environmental Planning and <br /> Economics, Inc., hereinafter referred to as the CONSULTANT, for consulting services in <br /> connection with the performance of a detailed Feasibility Study of Lake Decatur Watershed <br /> Management Alternatives, hereinafter referred to as the PROJECT. <br /> WITNESSETH that in consideration of the covenants herein, the parties agree as <br /> follows: <br /> SECTION 1. After execution of this Agreement by the parties, the CONSULTANT <br /> shall provide consulting services for the PROJECT as described in Attachment A to this <br /> Agreement, Scope of Services. <br /> � <br /> SECTION 2. The CITY shall compensate the CONSULTANT for the services <br /> described in Attachment A as follows: � <br /> 2.1 For work performed on the PROJECT by Principals and Associates of the <br /> CONSULTANT, compensation shall be in accordance with Attachment B to this Agreement, <br /> Schedule of Hourly Rates. <br /> 2.2 For work performed on the PROJECT by Subconsultants of the CONSULTANT, <br /> compensation shall equal the actual amount of such Subconsultants' invoices to the <br /> CONSULTANT times a multiplier of 1.05. <br /> 2.3 Direct expenses incurred by the CONSULTANT in the performance of the <br /> PROJECT will be reimbursed by the CITY at actual cost. The reimbursement rate for <br /> automobile mileage will be $0.30 per mile. <br /> 2.4 The CONSULTANT will be compensated for the Services described in <br /> Attachment A up to a maximum fee of$178,686. This amount shall not be exceeded unless <br /> authorized by the CITY. <br /> 2.5 The CITY may at any time by written order make changes within the general <br /> scope of this Agreement in the services to be performed by the CONSULTANT. If such changes <br /> cause an increase or decrease in the CONSULTANT's maximum fee or time required for <br /> performance of the Project, an equitable adjustment shall be made and this Agreement shall be <br /> amended in writing accordingly. No service for which additional compensation will be charged <br /> by the CONSULTANT shall be furnished without the written authorization of the CITY. <br />
