Page �. Keep Illinois Beautiful Grant Agreement. <br /> 7. tnterest on Grant Funds. In accordance with the Illinois Grant Funds Recovery Act (30 <br /> ILCS 705/1 et seq. (1992)), all interest earned on funds held by the Grantee under this <br /> Grant Agreement shall become part of the grant principal when earned. �ny interest <br /> earned on any part of the Grant Award, and not eapended as grant principal during <br /> the term of the Grant Agreement, shall be returned to the LTG in accordance with the <br /> provisions of Paragrapn 8 of this Part, unless the LTG determine that the cost of accounting <br /> for the interest or allocating the interest to the grant principal is significant in comparison to <br /> the amount of interest earned. <br /> 8. Return of Unobli�,ated Funds. In accordance with the Illinois Grant Funds Recovery Act <br /> (30 ILCS 705/1 et seq.), Grantee shall upon submission of the final report provided for at <br /> Part II, Paragraph 5 of this Part, or within 45 days of the expiration of this Grant <br /> Agreement, whichever occurs first, refund to the LTG any balance of funds which were <br /> unobligated as of the Ending Date. <br /> 9. Special Grant Conditions. In addition to the general terms and conditions which appear in <br /> this Part, the special grant conditions set forth at "E�chibit D", which is attached hereto and <br /> by this reference made a part hereof, shall be applicable. In the event that any terms <br /> contained at Exhibit D cont7ict with any other provisions of this Grant Agreement, the <br /> provisions of E�chibit D shall control. <br /> PART III <br /> CERTIFICATIONS, REPRESENTATIONS AND WARRANTIES <br /> 1. By the execution of this Grant Agreement, the undersigned, on his/her own behalf and on <br /> behalf of Grantee, certifies under penalty of perjury as follows: <br /> a.
