, the requirements and responsibilities of the position of City Manager, which hours sha11 not be less <br /> than forty(40) per week. <br /> 6. EMPLOYEE'S SALARY. Employee shall receive a salary at an annual rate of <br /> Ninety-Five Thousand Dollars ($95,000.00) for the period commencing as of the effective date <br /> hereof, and such salary shall be payable in bi-weekly installments as per the pay plan generally <br /> applicable to all City employees. Employee agrees to normal and customary withholding, and <br /> Employee hereby appoints irrevocably the City as his agent to report such compensation to federal <br /> and state taxing authorities as may be required by law. <br /> 7. VACATION LEAVE. Employee sha11 be entitled to twenty (20) days of paid <br /> vacation leave annually during the term of this Agreement. Unused vacation leave may be carried <br /> forward from one yeaz to the ne�at the discretion of Employee, however, notwithstanding anything <br /> to the contrary, it is agreed and understood that Employee shall take at least three (3)weeks (i.e., <br /> fifteen (15) days) of his vacation in any given calendar year. Any vacation leave accrued and <br /> remaining unused at the termination of this Agreement will be paid in cash to Employee, subject to <br /> customary withholdings, in an amount equal to the number of such unused vacation leave days <br /> multiplied by the Employee's salary as described in § 6 hereof, divided by Two Hundred Sixty(260). <br /> In no event sha11 more than twenty-five (25) days of unused vacation to be paid to Employee at <br /> ternunation. <br /> 8. SICK LEAVE. Employee sha11 be provided with One Hundred Five (105) <br /> days of sick leave for the first si�y (60)months of this Agreement. After the first sixty(60) months <br /> of this Agreement, Employee shall earn an additional one (1) day of sick leave for each month of <br /> service provided hereunder. However, the maximum amount of sick leave which may be accrued <br /> -3- <br />
