local, state or federal ordinances, laws or statutes and will save the Library harmless from any <br /> and all costs, damages or expense in relation thereto. <br /> Notwithstanding, if there are any changes required by state or federal laws that are solely <br /> applicable to libraries, the Library covenants and agrees that it will promptly cause to be made <br /> any and all changes or alterations in and about the Leased Premises which are required to be <br /> made solely because of the Library's use of the Leased Premises as a library. <br /> SECTION 8: Existin�Contracts <br /> The Library shall immediately provide to the City all existing contracts that the Library <br /> have in place as of the date of this Lease Agreement regarding the facility or its operation and <br /> maintenance including, but not limited to, electricaUgas service, elevator maintenance <br /> agreeinents, water/sewer service, chemical addition systems, cable systems or other such related <br /> contracts. <br /> The City shall not be required to abide by any such existing contracts that the Library <br /> currently has in place regarding the facility or its operation and maintenance and agree to hold <br /> the Library harmless for any cancellation fees or costs actually incurred. Notwithstanding, the <br /> City may elect to assume, pay for, or abide by said existing contracts in the City's sole <br /> discretion. <br /> SECTION 9: Alterations by Library <br /> Library may, with the written pre-approval of the City which approval shall not be <br /> unreasonably withheld, and at the Library's cost, install new cable or optic fiber communication <br /> networks and make additions and changes to the leased space. <br /> Page6of15 <br />
