SECTION 10: Relocation of Proiect Read and Friends of the Library
The City agrees to allow Project Read and the Friends of the Library to continue utilizing
space in the Building. Said space will be that which said entities currently utilize or a reasonably
similar space. The Friends of the Library space is included in the Library's Leased Premises.
The Friends of the Library space shall not be relocated or altered without the City first consulting
with the Friends to determine their needs. If the Friends of the Library space is relocated or
altered, the City shall pay all costs of the relocation and reasonable renovation of the new space.
The Project Read space is not part of the Library's Leased Premises and is subject to a separate
lease agreement. Notwithstanding, the City agrees that it shall lease Project Read space it
currently leases from the Library or a reasonably similar space at an amount that is no greater
than that currently paid under the Lease existing between the Library and Project Read if the
Project Read space is relocated or altered, the City shall pay all costs of the relocation to and
reasonable renovation of the new space. The City further agrees that Project Read will not be
required to relocate from its current space until new space is move-in ready, and in no event will
the City cause Project Read be closed far longer than one-week due to such a transition. Project
Read and the Friends of the Library are express third-party beneficiaries of this Lease.
Notwithstanding any contrary provisions of this Lease, the City shall not relocate the Friends of
the Library or Project Read in to the Library's Leased Premises without the written consent of
the Library.
SECTION 11: Miscellaneous
A.
