Mayor Pro-Tem William F. Oliver presided in the absence of <br /> Mayor Erik C. Brechnitz; together with him being Councilmen Stephen F. John, William Nfitchell, <br /> Kent N. IVfittelberg, Shirley M. Moore, and Randolph L. Van Alstine. Six members were present <br /> and one was absent. Mayor Pro-Tem Oliver declared a quorum present. <br /> The only item of business was a discussion regarding labor relations. Dan Sommerfeldt, <br /> Assistant City Manager, reviewed with Council the status of negotiations between the city and the <br /> Police Benevolent and Protective Association and AFSCME Local 268. No formal action was <br /> taken. <br /> Councilman IVLttelberg moved the meeting be reopened to the public; seconded by <br /> Councilman Van Alstine, and on call of the roll, Councilmen John, IvTitchell, Ivfittelberg, Moore, <br /> Oliver, and Van Alstine voted aye.
