Van Alstine. <br /> Councilmen Kent N. 11Tittelberg and William F. Oliver were absent. Five members were present <br /> and two were absent. Mayor Brechnitz declazed a quorum present. , <br /> The first item of business was a discussion relative to land acquisition. James C. Bacon ', <br /> Jr., City Manager, discussed with Council the purchase of land in the downtown area for a �i <br /> project in conjunction with the Community Investment Corporation of Decatur, Inc. No formal I <br /> action was taken. ! <br /> The final item of business was a discussion relative to labor relations. 7ames C. Bacon 7r., ' <br /> City Manager, addressed the City Council on labor relations with the County of Macon regarding I, <br /> communications and records personnel. No formal action was taken. ', <br /> Councilman Moore moved the meeting be reopened to the public; seconded by ' <br /> Councilman Van Alstine, and on call of the roll, Councilmen John, Mitchell, Moore, Van Alstine <br /> and Mayor Brechnitz voted aye.
