. , r <br /> CITY COUNCII.NIINUTES <br /> FRIDAY,JUNE 21, 1996 <br /> The City Council of the City of Decatur, Illinois met in Special Meeting at 8:30 A.M. on <br /> Friday, June 21, 1996, in the City Council Conference Room. Mayor Terry M. Howley presided; <br /> together with him being Councilmen iv�ichael T. Carrigan, Larry W. Foster, Lou Ann Jacobs, <br /> Kent N. Mittelberg and William F. Oliver. Councilman William lvfitchell was absent at roll call. <br /> Six members were present and one was absent. Mayor Howley declared a quorum present. <br /> Councilman Foster moved the Council recess to Closed, Executive Session for the <br /> purpose of the selection of a city manager, seconded by Councilman Jacobs, and on call of the <br /> roll, Councilmen Camgan, Foster, Jacobs, Iv�itchell, lVLttelberg, Oliver and Mayor Howley voted <br /> aye. The Mayor declared the motion carried. <br /> The only item of business was a discussion with The PAR Crroup, Mr. Paul Reaume and <br /> Mr. Jerry Flock, relative to selection of city manager candidates. Councilman William 1VLtchell <br /> entered the meeting room at 8:45 A.M. No formal action was taken. <br /> Councilman 11Ttchell moved the meeting be reopened to the public; seconded by <br /> Councilman Jacobs, and on call of the roll, Councilmen Carrigan, Foster, Jacobs, M'itchell, <br /> M'ittelberg, Oliver and Mayor Howley voted aye. The Mayor declared the motion carried. <br /> There being no further business, Councilman Oliver moved the meeting be adjourned; <br /> seconded by Councilman Foster, and on call of the roll, Councilmen Camgan, Foster, Jacobs, <br /> N�itchell, M'ittelberg, Oliver and Mayor Howley voted aye.
