�i � 1 . � Task 4.0 - Definition of Comprehensive Approaches for Meeting Project Requirements Based on the results of the second level screening performed as part of Task 3.0, and discussions with the Technical Advisory Committee, a maximum of three possible improvement approaches will be selected for further analysis and evaluation. Planning level estimates of capital cost, operating and maintenance costs, and unit water production costs (dollars per million gallons of water produced) will be developed for each selected approach. The sensitivity of project costs to possible variations in future water requirements as identified in Task 1.0 will be considered during the development of the cost estimates. Permitting and financing issues will also be considered in order to identify specific actions required to support implementation of each of the options. The features, costs and benefits of the highest ranked approach will be documented in narrative, tables and conceptual sketches to be submitted to Client staff for review, and included in the project report. Task 5 - Develop Recommended Course of Action As a result of discussions with the Technical Advisory Committee, Engineer will develop a recommended course of action for the Client. Depending on the outcome of the analysis, the recommended program may involve implementation of one specific altemative, or the implementation of activities required to develop more detailed information related to one or more of the most attractive alternatives. In either case, a timeline will be developed to highlight critical planning, design, permitting and construction activities required to move the Client toward the development and maintenance of a reliable long-term water supply. The recommended plan of action and implementation schedule will be documented and presented along with the results of the water requirement analysis and the altemative identification/evaluation process in a draft project report. Ten copies of the draft report will be submitted to the Client within four months of the project starting date. Following receipt of Client comments, twenty five copies of the final project report and executive summary will be prepared and submitted.
