T r <br /> r V <br /> � ■ <br /> for the purpose of providing public transportation of per- <br /> sons for hire within the City and areas proximate thereto. <br /> 3 . ATE shall furnish a resident manager and any <br /> additional non-resident personnel reasonably required for <br /> the active management anc� direction of the system on behalf <br /> of the City in, but not limited to, the following areas: <br /> A. Transportation Operations including: <br /> 1 . Establishment and direction of garage, <br /> transportation and office procedure and <br /> supervision of all transit personnel. <br /> 2 . Direction and preparation of advertising <br /> campaigns, sales promotion and public <br /> relations projects. <br /> 3 . Securing all insurance coverage required <br /> and handling all matters with insurance <br /> carriers. <br /> 4 . Direction and supervision of all <br /> accounting, bookkeeping, auditing, <br /> purchasing and any policy or procedure <br /> as set forth by the City. <br /> B. Schedule Operations including: <br /> 1. Studying and recommending changes in bus <br /> operating schedules , headway frequen- <br /> cies, transfer methods and other related <br /> transit operations. <br /> 2. Direction of surveys to determine the <br /> need for establishing new rates, sched- <br /> ule and route changes, and transfer <br /> alterations. <br /> C. Labor Relations and Contract Negotiations <br /> including: <br /> 2 <br />
