2. Rides shall be scheduled a day in advance to assist in sched- uling and dispatching. To ride, all participants will call the dispatcher at the Decatur Public Transit Systgn (DPTS) the day before they want to ride. The dispatcher will con- tact NfANPOV� by 3:00 p.m. on the same day, with the names ar�d addresses, pick up times and destinations of those being transported the n�t day. The only exception will be Satur- day transportation. Since N�,NP�OWER offices are closed that day, MANPOWER must be oontacted by 12:00 noon on Friday, if transportation is to be provided on Saturday. 3. MANFOV�R shall collect a cash fare of seventy-five (75) cents frccn each eligible rider and seventy-five (75) cents from each escort accempanying an eligible Program participant. All riders will be expected to have exact change, as the driver will not be ��;tted to carry mpney to make change. However, riders wi11 be pexmitted to pay for both ways ($1.50) at once, when they first get on the van if they so choose. This amaunt will be placed in a cash box ar�l opened by the staff at the Decatur Public Transit Systen (DPTS) daily. The amount in the cash bc� will be ccmpared with the daily trip sheet shawing ridership, destinations and time by the transit staff. Any discrepancy between the trip sheet and the cash bc�x will be brought to the attention of persons designated by ea.ch party as soon as possible, and recancilia- tion will be made. Manpower shall not be responsible for daily shortages of funds which are not directly caused by the intentional and fraudulent act(s) of Manpow�r's anplayee(s) . 4. MANFOWER shall pravide rides only to those Progra�n partici- pants who are listed on the Specialized Van Service trip sheet given to the N�NPOWER driver each day by the DPTS dispatcher. 5. The MANPOWER driver shall canplete and sign a daily trip sheet at the end of each day. Such trip sheet shall be given to the DPTS dispatcher and one capy will be given to MANPOWER's Representative if requested. B. Operational Require�nents: 1. MANPOWER shall operate the vehicle for this Program as needed 15 hours per day and five days a week (6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Morxlay through Friday) and on Saturday froqn 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and shall at all times have personnel available to meet the dgnand for service. Drivers will be given at least one hour shcywup time when they are called in. The City shall maintain the vehicles, and have one available for use by the program at all such times. 2. The vehicle used in the Program shall be a wheelchair lift-equipped van or a ramp-equipped van. 3. The MArTpOWER drivers shall be properly licensed and shall meet all necessary state requirements.
