8. The M�TFOWER driver shall inspect the van eaclz morning and insure that the lights, wipers, brakes, turning signals and other systems are in proper working condition. Any defects shall be reported to DPTS. 9. MANPOWER shall report any accident, defect, or mechanical failure involving the van to the DPTS dispatcher as soon as possible, so that apprapriate action can be taken. 10. N�,NPOWER shall assist in the loading and unloading of handi- capped passengers, as well as their parcels and personal effects. 11. MANPOWER drivers will avoid any undue delay, either at point of pick-up or enroute and shall strive to pick up Program patrons within 5 minutes of the scheduled time. . 12. The van shall not wait for Program riders for more than five (5) minutes at any point beyond the scheduled pick up time. 13. MANPOWER shall acco�t for all patrons transported and shall maintain accurate trip sheets, and upon rPquest, other data which wi11 pravide sufficient information to pernnit evalua- tion of the Progr�n by the City, N�,1�TPC7WER Achninistrative Staf f and the Federal and State Goverrmients. 14. MANPOT�R shall permit the City, the U. S. Depart�nent of Transportation and the Illinois Depar�t�nent of Transportation to revie�a and/or audit all records pertaining to this Pro- gram. 15. The Program will observe the following holidays; New Year's Day I�abor Day • Memprial Day Thanksgiving Day July 4th Christznas Day These are in accordance with DPTS holidays. C. Payment for Services Rendered 1. The City shall pay NIANPOWER the sLun of $8.00 for each hour wnrked by each operator. 2. MANPOWER shall bill the City weekly for the services pravided by it. 3. Operator time slips will be furnished to the City by MANPOWER on a weekly basis. 4. Payment by the City for services rendered by Ng1NPOWER will be processed within 5 days of receipt of the billing.
