,. , . <br /> CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS <br /> CITY PROJECT 9126 - PUMP STATION REHABILITATION <br /> ENGINEERING SERVICE AGREEMENT <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into the lst day of August, <br /> A.D. , 1991 , by and between the CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS, <br /> hereinafter referred to as the "CITY" and Phillip W. Cochran, <br /> Consulting Engineer, hereinafter referred to as the "ENGINEER" , <br /> covers professional engineering services in connection with the <br /> preparation of plans, specifications, estimates of cost and <br /> construction of the proposed improvement of the replacement of <br /> three existing pumping stations - Forest Knolls, Grays Lane, and <br /> Green Oaks, said improvements designated as Pump Station <br /> Renovations. <br /> WITNESSETH THAT, in consideration of these premises and of <br /> the mutual covenants herein set forth, <br /> THE ENGINEER AGREES, <br /> 1 . Design Services - To perform or be responsible for the <br /> performance of the following professional engineering <br /> services for the CITY in connection with the proposed <br /> improvements hereinbefore described: <br /> a. Make such detailed surveys as are necessary for the <br /> preparation of detailed construction plans. � <br /> b. Prepare detailed construction drawings and � <br /> specifications for the project. <br /> c. Direct any test borings or sub-surface explorations <br /> necessary for the proper preparation of said detailed <br /> Construction Drawings and Specifications. <br /> d. Prepare proposal forms and notice to bidders and assist <br /> in the preparation of the Contract Documents. <br /> e. Prepare estimate of project construction cost based on <br /> final plans and documents. <br /> f. Furnish one reproducible copy of the Contract Documents <br /> consisting of Construction Agreement Forms, General <br /> Conditions, Special Conditions, Detailed Construction <br /> Drawings and Specifications. <br /> g. Furnish the CITY with a draft of all necessary <br /> right-of-way dedications and/or construction easements, <br /> including prints of the corresponding plats. <br /> h. Assist the CITY in receipt of bids and in tabulation <br /> and interpretation of contractors' proposals. <br />
