• Page 3 <br /> D. Coordinate investigations on litigated claims with <br /> attorneys approved by the City. It is expressly understood by <br /> the Parties to this Agreement that all legal costs and loss <br /> payments will be charged to the City' s Self-Insurance Reserve <br /> Fund. <br /> E. Obtain approval from City before making any assignment <br /> to independent adjusters which would result in an additional fee. <br /> F. Be available to consult with the City on any insurance <br /> matter and to make available the expertise and experience of the <br /> Service Agent' s staff of Professionals to assist the City in <br /> achieving a successful self-insurance program. <br /> G. Assist in the collection of claims against others for <br /> damage to City' s property and make recommendations regarding <br /> salvage matters. <br /> H. Review all sizable and unusual claims against the <br /> Decatur Public Transit System. <br /> I. Obtain insurance quotations annually from commercial <br /> providers to verify that the contributions to the self-insurance <br /> reserve fund do not exceed the cost of commercially procured <br /> insurance coverage. <br />
