reliable companies authorized to do business in the State of <br /> Illinois and approved by the City by which contracts both <br /> the Operator and the City are insured against any claim, <br /> demand or loss for injury to persons or damage to property <br /> resulting from, growing out of or connected with the manage- <br /> ment, supervision and operation of said transit system or <br /> its appurtenant facilities or either of them or any act or <br /> omissions to act by Operator or any of Operator' s employees, <br /> which said contracts of insurance shall provide comprehen- <br /> sive general liability insurance which includes Bodily <br /> Injury and Property Damage with combined single limits of <br /> $1,000,000, comprehensive automobile liability which in- <br /> cludes Bodily Injury and Property Damage with combined <br /> single limits of $1 ,000 ,000, and umbrella liability in an <br /> amount of not less than $10,000,000 except that this obliga- <br /> tion shall not require Operator to furnish insurance against <br /> injury to persons or damage to property caused by the <br /> negligence of City or of its employees. The City may from <br /> time to time change the aforesaid insurance requirements. <br /> 15 . The operator shall furnish fire and extended <br /> damage coverage in the amount of the full insurable value of <br /> each transit coach in the transit system with a deductible <br /> clause not to exceed $5,000 .00. <br /> 16.
