E. IDENTIFICATION SIGN REGULATIONS <br /> 1 . Freestanding Signs: A free standing sign con- <br /> taining 32 square feet in area or one-half square <br /> foot per foot of lot frontage, whichever is larger <br /> shall be permitted per lot. Such signs shall be <br /> limited to a maximum height of ten feet, and may <br /> be illuminated but non-flashing if located at <br /> least 25 feet from the side or rear lot line of a <br /> residential district and five feet from the front <br /> property line or right-of-way line. Otherwise, <br /> all such non-illuminated signs shall be located a <br /> minimum of five feet each from the side, rear, and <br /> front property lines. <br /> In the case of more than one main building <br /> per lot, the number and size of signs shall be <br /> limited as noted above, and the sign area per- <br /> mitted shall be shared as may be determined by <br /> building occupants. <br /> 2 . Wall Signs: A wall mounted sign not to exceed 32 <br /> square feet or ten percent of the face of the wall <br /> where displayed, whichever is larger, shall be <br /> permitted per main building. Such sign may not <br /> extend above the wall where it is displayed, and <br /> it may be illuminated but non-flashing, providing <br /> that a minimum distance of 25 feet is maintained <br /> from a side or rear lot line adjoining a residence <br /> district. There is no limitation as to the <br /> number of wall signs providing that the total <br /> area of all signs is within the allowable <br /> limits. <br /> 3 . All signs shall be in accordance with applicable <br /> regulations set forth under Section XIX, Height <br /> and Area Exceptions and Modifications, as stated <br /> herein. <br />
