CHAPTER 7 .2 <br /> � COMMUNITY RELATIONS DEPARTMENT <br /> (Amended by Ordinance No. <br /> 1. There is hereby created and established the <br /> Community Relations Department which shall be s'o �rganized <br />� and administered as the City Manager shall from time to time <br /> direct, and which shall consist of the Director of Community <br />' Relations and such other officers and employees as the <br /> Council may from time to time authorize. <br /> 2 . There is hereby created the office of Directar <br /> of Community Relations the occupant whereof shall be <br /> appointed, and may be removed, by the City Manager at will. <br /> 3 . The Director of Community Relations shall be <br /> the appointing officer of the occupants of all classified <br /> positions assigned to said Department, and may make <br /> reasonable rules , regulations and directives not in <br /> conflict with law or ordinance to govern and administer the <br /> activities and carry out the duties and responsibilities <br /> thereof, subject to the direction and control of the <br /> City Manager . <br /> 4 . The Director of Community Relations shall be <br /> the Equal Opportunity Officer for the City and shall be <br /> the Staff Advisor for the Advisory Commission on Human <br /> Relations and shall perform those duties usually and <br /> customarily performed by each such officer. <br />
