The base flood elevation at <br /> � any particular development site is that deZineated on the i00 <br /> year flood profile in Exhibit B the Flood Insurance Stu3y. <br /> - Section 7. Construction and Substantial Improvement Standards . <br /> All new construction an substantial improvements of structures in any <br /> Zone A shall : <br /> 7. 1 As to residential structures , have the lowest floor <br /> including any basement, elevated to not less }.:nan one foot <br /> above the base flood elevation. <br /> 7. 2 As to non-residential structures , have the lowest <br /> floor, including any basement elevated or flood-proofed <br /> to not less than one foot above the base flood elevation. <br /> 7. 3 Be so designed or modified and adequately� <br /> anchored to prenent flotation, collapse or lateral movement. <br /> 7.4 Be constructed or improved with materials and <br /> furnished with utility equipment resistant to flood damage. <br /> 7.� Be constructed or improved by methods and practices <br /> that minimize flood damage to other properties. <br /> 7. 6 Have all structural components below the base flood <br /> elevation so designed as to be water-tight with walls <br /> impermeable to the passage of water, and to resist hydrostatic <br /> and hydrodynamic loads and the effects of buoyancy. <br /> Section 8 . Mobile Homes. No mobile home park shall be <br /> located or any mobile home placed in any Zone A. <br /> Section 9 . Utilities . In any Zone A new or replacement <br /> water supply systems shall be so designed and constructed as to prevent <br /> infiltration of flood waters , and all sanitary sewage or on-site <br /> waste disposal systems shall be designed and constructed as to prevent <br /> infiltration of flood waters into such systems and to prevent <br /> exfiltration of wastes ir.to such flood waters and to preven� impairment <br /> of such systems during flooding. <br /> Section 10 . Subdivision and Develo ments . Any subdivision or <br /> other development in any Zone A and t e utilities and public improvements <br /> thereof shall be so designed and constructed as to minimize flood <br /> damage thereto and the site thereof and to other properties . The <br /> plats, or site development plans , thereof shall show base flood <br /> elevation data for each lot or parcel. Drainage adequate to reduce <br /> exposure to flood hazards shall be provided. <br /> Section 11 . Floodway. Any encroachment, new construction, including <br /> utilities , substantial improvements , subdivision or other development <br /> in the regulatory flood-way as shown in Exhibit A or B which would <br /> cause increase in flood levels in the community during the occurrence of <br /> base flood discharge is prohibited. <br />
