DIVISION 3 . <br /> 6-3-1. Authorized overtime by employees in the fire service <br /> below the position of Battalion Chief shall be paid at one and <br /> one-half times the normal hourly rate of pay based upon a 56 hour <br /> duty week. <br /> 6-3-2 . Employees in the fire service recalled to duty when the <br /> shift they are at that time serving with is off duty and when the <br /> reason for such recall is to supplement the shift then on duty to <br /> help control a fire or meet a similar emergency, shall be paid <br /> for the actual time on duty but for not less than two hours pay <br /> at the rate of one and one half times the normal hourly rate of <br /> such employee. <br /> CHAPTER 7 <br /> VACATIONS <br /> 7-1. The length of annual vacations for full time employees, ex- <br /> cept for employees in the police and fire services, shall be as <br /> follows: <br /> (a) after completion of one year continuous service uninter- <br /> rupted by resignation or discharge, 10 duty days; <br /> (b) after completion of eight years continuous service unin- <br /> terrupted by resignation or discharge, 15 duty days; <br /> (c) after completion of fifteen years continuous service <br /> uninterrupted by resignation or discharge, 20 duty days. <br /> (AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 80-35, April 14, 1980) <br /> 7-2 . The length of annual vacations for regular shift employees <br /> of the fire service shall be as follows: <br /> (a) after completion of one year continuous service uninter- <br /> rupted by resignation or discharge, 5 duty days; <br /> (b) after completion of eight years continuous service unin- <br /> terrupted by resignation or discharge, 7 duty days. <br /> (c) after completion of fifteen years continuous service <br /> uninterrupted by resignation or discharge, 10 duty days. <br /> (AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 81-40, May 11, 1981) <br /> 7-2-1.
