77-188 PROVIDING FOR THE LOCAL IMPROVEMENT KNOWN AND DESIGNATED AS SOUTHSIDE SPECIAL ASSESSMENT SANITARY SEWER DISTRICT

-4- (FOR DESCRIPTIONS OF BOTH THE PROPERTIES , THE PERMANENT AND TEMPORARY EASEMENTS REQUIRED, SEE "EXHIBIT 4" , ATTACHED HERETO AND MADE A _ PART HEREOF) . SECTION 11 : BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the recommendation for said improvement by the Board of Local Improvements of the City of Decatur, Illinois , together with the itemized estimate of the costs of such improvement, both of which are prepared and presented to the Council of said City with this Ordinance as provided by law, and hereto attached , be and the same are hereby approved . SECTION 12 : BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that said improvement shall be made and just compensation for easements to be acquired shall be ascertained , and the whole cost of said improvement , including the just compensation to be made for private property to be taken for said improvement and the cost of said improvement , being the sum of One Million Three Hundred Twenty-Seven Thousand Five Hundred Thirty- One Dollars Seven Cents ($1, 327 ,531 .07) , as shown by the estimate made a part hereof , including the sum of Sixty-Seven Thousand Two Hundred �, Five Dollars Seventy-Five Cents ($67 , 205 . 75) , being the amount included I�, in the estimate as the cost of making , levying , and collecting the �� assessment herein, be paid for by Special Assessment to be levied upon the properties specially benefited by such improvement to the amount that the same may be legally assessed therefore, in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 24 Illinois Revised Statutes , Article 9 , entitled, "Local Improvement . " SECTION 13 : BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the aggregate assessment , and also each individual assessment and the assessment against the municipality for public benefit , shall be divided into ten annual installments in the manner provided by statute . Each installment , except the first , shall be in the amount of One Hundred Dollars ($100 .00) or some multiple thereof , and each of said installments shall bear interest at the rate of 7% per annum, payable annually, according to law, until paid .
