, � � - 3 - of current insurance within 30 days of the expiration of an existing registration and may be renewed without re-examination within 90 days of said expiration upon receipt of such application, fee and evidence at the direction of the Commission for good cause shown. Otherwise, an applicant shall be again examined as above set out herein and in any event no person shall be registered as an electrical contractor without examination if application for such registration is made more than 90 days after the expiration of such prior application. Section 11. The Electrical Commission shall issue an appropriate certificate evidencing the registration of each electrical contractor which registration shall be effective from November 1 of each year through October 31 of the calendar year next following, and no person having been registered as an electrical contractor shall install , repair, alter or engage in the business of such electrical contractor after the expiration of his registra- tion thereas or after such registration shall have been suspended or revoked as in this ordinance provided or shall the Inspection Division issue any permit authorizing work to be done by any � contractor whose registration has expired or has been so ' terminated. Section 12. A certificate of registration or the privileges attendant upon registration as an electrical contractor shall not be loaned, rented or transferred and registration and such privileges may be suspended or revoked by the City Council upon recommendation of the Electrical Commission for violation of the provisions of this ordinance or for the failure or refusal of the registrant to comply with the provisions of this ordinance or the rales and regulations promulgated hereunder or the provisions of said code adopted hereby. Section 13. Each electrical contractor registered under this ordinance shall keep currently in force at all times a policy of insurance, with an insurer authorized to do business in the State of Illinois, insuring said contractor along with the City as an additional named insured, for workmen' s compensation, if applicable, and general contractors liability including completed operations with coverage limits for personal injury of not less than $100 ,000 for one person, and $300 , 000 for any number of persons in any one occurrence, and for property damage not less than $50 ,000 for any one occurrence , which said insurance coverage shall be evidenced by a certificate of insurance filed with the City Clerk and which shall provide that the coverage evidenced there- by shall not be altered or cancelled unless and until 10 days notice thereof has been received by said Clerk. At any time said insurance coverage is not kept currently in force, said registration shall terminate.
