OperatoY shall maintain a stanclard workmens' compen- <br /> sation and employers policy of insurance conforming to the require- <br /> ments of applicable statute covering all employees employed by Op- <br /> erator pursuant to this contract, and shall furnish the usual certi- <br /> ficate to the City attesting the fact that such insurance ha s been <br /> obtained and is in forc�. <br /> 9. Operator shall furnish the City zvith written evidence <br /> of a contract or contracts of insurance with a reli able company or corn- <br /> p anies, auth orized to do business in the State of Illinois and approved <br /> by City, by which contracts both the Opexator and the City are insureu <br /> against any claim, demand ar loss for injury to persons or damage to <br /> proPer'ty resulting �rom, growiYag out of or connected with the operatian <br /> of the facilities aforesaid and any act or omission to aet by Operator, <br /> or any of Operator's employees, which said contracts of insurance shall <br /> have limits in amount not less than $100,000 fox injury to one person, <br />, in one occurrence; nAt less than $300,000 for injury to more than one <br /> person in the same occurrence; and, not less than $100,000 for damage to <br /> property in one occurrence, except that this obligation shall nat require <br />. i;he Opera'�cor to furnish 3.nsurance against in;jury to persons or damage to <br /> prope�rty caused by 1:he nEgligence of City or its eniployees. <br />
