� � � � 3 Section 2. That said ordir�ance be, and the same is hereby, amended at Secticra 8 thereof so that said section as $o amended shall provide as follows: "Section 8. Said Com�ission shall, by w�ritten examination, examine each applicant as to his prac- tical lmowledge of the installation, safe construc- tion, alteration, testing, maintenance and servici.ng of Heating, Air Conditioning or Refrigeration systems, of the provisions of this ordinance and of such appli- cable national codes and standards as may be applicable to the business and work of a Heating, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Contractor. " Section 3. That said ordinance be, and the same is hereby, amended at Section 10 thereof, so that said section as so amended shall provide as followst "Section 10. Licenses shall be issued annually for the period October 1 through Septsmber 30 of the next succeeding year with an annual license fee of $25.00, �ich said license fee is in addit ion to the escamination fee provided for elseva�ere herein. Li- censes may be annua].ly renewed without further examin- ation provided that appl3cation for renewal and the payment of the annual license fee is received by the City Clerk before the l�t day of November next swcceed- ing the expiration date of the license." Section 4. That said ordinance be, and it is hereby, amended at Section 13 theYeof so that as �mended said Section shall provide as followss '�Section 13. Notwithstanding any other provision hereof, appliances and apparatus for utiliaation of electricity for space heating without the use of duct work may be installed, upon the requisite permit bein g issued thexefor, by either licensed heating, air con- ditioning and refrig�ration contractors, or by licensed electrical contractors. Furnaces, appliances and ap- paratus for utilization of electricity for space heating by the use of duct work may be installed by either such contr�ctor, however, any such duct w�ork shall be done only by licensed lzeating, air condit�oning and refYigera- tion contractors upon the requisite permit being issued for such work, and any roviring, electrical connections and the like shall be done only by Iicensed electrical contrac- tors upon the requisite permit being issued for such eZec- trical w�rk.
