c. Cause notice in writing to be given to those furnishing utilities <br /> to the premises not less than seven days before demolition is to commence if <br /> utility service or facilities are to be terminated, interrupted or otherwise affected <br /> by the demolition. <br /> d. Cause each sanitary sewer service connection to be terminated and <br /> plugged at the property line of the demolition site by some method recognized as <br /> proper within the provisions of the Plumbing Code, or as may otherwise be approved <br /> by the Building Official. <br /> e. Cause each such sanitary sewer service termination to be inspected and <br /> approved by the Department of Public Works before covering or backfilling over the <br /> same. <br /> f. Cause all debris to be removed promptly from the demolition site. <br /> g. Cause any underground tanks on the site to be removed and all wells, <br /> cisterns, septic tanks and the like to be broken open, and the same along with all <br /> excavations to be filled with earth and inert material of such consistency and in <br /> such a manner as to eliminate all voids. <br /> h. Cause the site to be graded so as to place the same in a clean, safe <br /> condition free from debris, ponding and mounding of earth. <br /> i. Cause the site and surrounding neighborhood and public ways to be <br /> kept free of dust, rubbish, refuse or debris resulting from the demolition operations. <br /> 7. Only inert material such as earth, sand, concrete, brick and the like <br /> material may be used as fill, all other material and debris shall be moved from <br /> the site. <br /> 8. No material or debris shall be burned at the site. <br /> 9. Debris and material removed from the site and which is to be disposed of <br /> shall be so transported, removed and disposed of as to comply with the provisions <br /> of the Environmental Protection Act and the rules of the Pollution Control Board <br /> of the State of Illinois, and with applicable rules, regulations, resolutions or <br /> ordinances of the County of Macon, Illinois or the City. <br /> 10. The person, firm or corporation to whom a permit is issued shall be and <br /> remain liable for any damage to public utility facilities occassioned by the <br /> demolition operation. <br /> 11. The Building Official may, in addition to any and all other remedies <br /> provided in the Chapter, revoke a permit if the demolition is done in such manner <br /> as to violate or fail to comply with the provisions of this Chapter. <br /> 12, In addition to any and all other remedies provided in this Chapter, the <br /> Building Official may cause any violation of, or failure to comply with the pro- <br /> visions of this Chapter to be corrected by others than the person, firm or cor- <br /> poration to whom such permit was issued in which event the holder of the permit <br /> shall become and be liable for the cost of such correction. <br />
