, - � � Chapter 49 <br /> 6. The per annum fee for all licenses shall be One Thousand <br /> Dollars ($1,000.00) . Such license fee may be paid in two installments <br /> of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) each, not later than July 1 and <br /> January 2 in each year in advance. In the event of a license being <br /> issued during any six month period subsequent to July 1 but prior to <br /> January 2, the applicant shall pay in advance as a license fee the <br /> sum of One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) . In case such license is <br /> issued subsequent to January 2nd, the license fee shall be Five Hundred <br /> Dollars ($500.00) . Such license fee may be paid in two installments <br /> of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) each, the fixst to accornpany the <br /> application and the second to be paid prior to July 1. In case any <br /> license shall be surrendered subsequent to January 2 or July 1, <br /> respectively, the licensee shall be refunded the sum of Fifty Dollars <br /> ($50,00) per month for each succeeding month, subsequent to the month ' <br /> of surrender, during the period such license fee was paid in advance. <br /> The temporary permit fee is hereby fixed at Three Dollars ($3.00) . <br /> ?. The applicant shall execute a corporate surety bond to the <br /> City in the penal sum of One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) wi'�h <br /> sureties to 6e approved by the Local Liquor Control Cornmissioner, <br /> conditioned upon the faithful observance of the provisions of this <br /> Chapter and the la ws of the State of Illinois, and upon the payment <br /> of all fines and costs which may be assessed against him for viola- <br /> tion of any of the provis ions hereof. � <br /> S. The Local Liquor Control Commissioner shall have pocver to � <br /> issue a temporary permit for the sale of beer only to be consumed on <br /> the premises at a banquet, picnic, bazaar, fair or similar private or � <br /> public asse mbly where food or drink is sold, served or dispensed. i <br />' Such temporary permit shall be issued only to a club, society, fYater- r <br /> nity or benevolent organization not for pecuniary profit, and shall be j <br /> for a period of not more than three days. Not more than one temporaYy � <br /> permit shall be granted to any one organization in any one pexiod of <br /> thirty (30) days. � <br /> � <br /> 9. The location of a licensee 's place of business may be changed I <br /> only upon written permit issued by the Local Liquor Control Commissioner. � <br /> No change shall be permitted except to a location permitted under the � <br /> Act above referred to, and the ordinances of the City. Clubs, restaurants <br /> and hotels only may be granted licenses for the xetail sale of alcoholic � <br /> liquors in rooms situated on other than the first or ground floor. _ r <br /> � <br /> 10. The total number of retail licenses of a�.l kinds is hereby k <br /> restricted to 101, of which 86 shall be Retailer 's licenses, 8 shall <br /> be Club licenses and 7 shall be Package Liquor licenses. This limita- <br /> tion shall not efFect the privilege o� any present licensee to renewal , <br /> or to change or location if such licensee is other wise eligible and ' <br /> qualifies for such renewal or change of lacation. I <br /> 11. Every person licensed in accordance with the provisions of � <br /> this Chapter shall immediately post and keep posted while in force, in ` <br /> a conspicuous place on the premises, the license so issued. 4�henever - <br /> such license shall be lost or d�stroyed, a duplicate in lieu thereof <br /> shall be issued by the City Clerk upon direction o� the Local Liquor <br /> Control Comr,iissioner . <br />
