' Chapter 6a <br /> Page 3 <br /> current value of the existing sewer; the type, quantity and <br /> quality of service or benefit pr.ovided by the existing sewer; <br /> the si2� of the sewer to be connected; the type, quantity and <br /> quality of the service or benefit to be provided by the sew�r <br /> to be connected; the number, area, type and intensity of use of <br /> the premises sexved by the existing seva�r, and those to be served <br /> by the sew�r to be connected; the availability and compaxative <br /> cost of alternate means of providing service; such other and fur- <br /> ther considerations within customar ily accepted practice as the <br /> .. Dixector shall reasonably deem pertinent. <br /> 4. The Director of Public Works may promu�gate and apply such rules <br /> and regulations as he may deem reasonably necessary or convenient ta imple- <br /> ment the provisions hereof. <br /> 5. No connection shall be made to a sanitary sev�r which will per- <br /> mit surface or storm water drainage into said sewer, and no connection shall <br /> be made to a surface or storm vrater drain or sev�r which will perznit sanitary <br /> sewage to be admitted into such surface or storm ur�ter drain or sewer. lYo <br /> connection shall be made to an existing combination sewer unless evidence satis- <br /> factory in the judgment of the Director is submitted to him to clea�ly show that <br /> the existing use thereof along with the additional use as a result of the pro- <br /> pos�d connection are less than sixty per cent of the capacity of the existing <br /> sewer under all reasonable conditions, and that there is no reasonabZy feasible <br /> alternative to provide service other than by the connection proposed. <br />
