. , , <br /> Compensation PARAGRAPH (3) - contd. � <br /> (b) The compensation for the services rendered under <br /> the provisions of PARAGRAPH (2) , Sub-Paragraph <br /> A, B, � C shall be due and payable quarterly <br /> on estimaltes made by the Engineer and in pro- <br /> portion to the estimated percentage of completion <br /> of the services to be rendered in accordance with <br /> the provisions of said PARAGRAPH (2) � Sub-Paragraphs <br /> A, B, � C. <br /> (c) The compensation for the services rendered under <br /> the provisions of PARAGRAPH (2) , Sub-Paragraph D, <br /> shall be due and payable from time to time during <br /> the progress of construction of said improvement <br /> and in amounts proportional to the value of the ' <br /> work performed in the construction of said project <br /> from month to month. <br /> (d) Final payment for services rendered under the <br /> provisions of PARAGRAPH (2) , Sub-�aragraphs <br /> A, B, C, and D shall be due and payable upon <br /> the completion of said improvement. <br /> Compensation PARAGRAPH (4) - <br /> Compensation for DETAILED RESIDENT INSPECTION SERVICES� ( if directed <br /> by .City) defined in PARAGRAPH (2) , Sub-Paragraph E, shall be as <br /> follows: <br /> � (a) Compensation for services rendered during the authorized <br /> construction contract time: The compensation due the <br /> Engineer for furnishing such detailed resident engineer- <br /> ing inspection services required under the provisions <br /> of PARAGRAPH 2, Sub-Paragraph E shall be three and one- <br /> half percent (3'—z%) of the total construction costs of <br /> the improvement. <br /> (b) Compensation for services rendered if the authorized <br /> construction contract time is exceeded by more than 'I <br /> twenty-five percent (25%) . <br /> The compensation due the Engineer for furnishing such <br /> detailed resident engineering services required under <br /> the provisions of PARAGRAPH (2) , Sub-Paragraph E shall <br /> be at "payroll cost" plus seventy-five percent (75%) <br /> for overhead and profit plus "Direct Reimbursable Expense" <br /> at net cost. "Payroll Cost" is defined as the cost of <br /> salaries (which on an hourly basis is the annual salary <br /> paid the employee divided by 2080 hours) plus fringe costs <br /> -4- � <br />
