(a) Annual Fee: $20,000 <br /> (b) Includes: Fiber Management, Registering fiber with JULIE,Tracking, Documentation <br /> Management, GIS Database management, Contract Management including <br /> Contractors, Engineering, Locators. <br /> JULIE work efforts included as part of this annual fee include the costs of <br /> maintaining GIS database systems,Arc Map and other GIS tools, engineers, <br /> management and leveraging of the State's JULIE locate service provider for quantity <br /> discount on tickets as well as updates, modifications and changes as necessary. For <br /> instance,when JULIE makes changes to their requirements,the changes that need <br /> to be made to support the City's JULIE protection would come from the annual costs <br /> that the City pays. Ongoing ticket based JULIE costs are detailed below under Ad <br /> Hoc Services. <br /> (2) Ad Hoc Services (Each of the services listed below will be initiated only after Public <br /> Agency approval to the quote): <br /> (a) Relocate Work: Cost+20% <br /> (b) Maintenance,scheduled or unscheduled: Cost+20% <br /> Scheduled Maintenance consists of any maintenance work that the City may wish <br /> to have DoIT perform in the execution of its duties as the City's fiber management <br /> services provider. For scheduled maintenance, Public Agency provides DoIT with a <br /> scope of work,will receive a quote, and must approve before the work would be <br /> performed. <br /> This maintenance would include, but is not limited to: splicing work to allow new <br /> customers to come online, new handholes, mid-sheath entry, contractor meetings, <br /> etc. <br /> Unscheduled Maintenance consists of maintenance that must be responded to <br /> immediately and cannot wait for City approval, such as emergencies. <br /> In the case of Unscheduled Maintenance, DoIT shall first attempt to retrieve <br /> unscheduled maintenance costs from the responsible party causing the <br /> unscheduled maintenance. If this is not possible,the State shall allocate the <br /> unscheduled maintenance costs between the IRU owners of the fiber strands, in <br /> proportion to the quantity of fiber owned.Any out of pocket costs incurred due to <br /> unscheduled maintenance will be the responsibility of Public Agency. <br /> (c) JULIE Locate Services: Cost+20% <br /> 4 <br />
