1)General Construction Work:Work includes limited renovation of interior spaces including the dorm room,day
<br /> room,kitchen,and the bathroom.Renovation work includes flooring,ceilings,painting,and kitchen&bathroom
<br /> casework,toilet partitions,and toilet accessories.Miscellaneous door and hardware replacement.Investigation of
<br /> masonry flashing and drainage system. Replacement of two existing roofs down to deck with insulation and single
<br /> ply membrane roofs including new edge terminations at the two roof replacements and at the existing roof to remain.
<br /> 2)Plumbing Work:Work that is associated with supporting limited renovation of interior spaces including service
<br /> sink,thermostatic mixing valve,water closet,urinal,lavatory,and shower head replacement.Areas not receiving
<br /> interior renovation will also include plumbing fixture replacement.
<br /> 3)Sprinkler Work:None.
<br /> 4)Heating,Ventilating and Air Conditioning Work:Replace exhaust fan on roof in conjunction with roof
<br /> replacement.Replace ceiling diffusers in ceiling replacement.
<br /> 5)Electrical Work: Replace main service panel and distribution panels with associated disconnect switches and
<br /> provide surge protection.Replace and add smoke detectors.Replace exterior light fixtures and interior light fixtures
<br /> in the limited renovation of interior spaces.
<br /> 6)Technology:Modifications and upgrades to the following:Backbone cabling system including cable,patch
<br /> panels,and connectivity for support of voice,data,and CATV systems.Horizontal structured cabling system
<br /> including new telecommunications outlets,cabling,patch panels,and connectivity for support of voice/data/network
<br /> and CATV devices.Infrastructure including conduit and inner duct for support of backbone cabling systems.Wired
<br /> and wireless LAN including access points,cabling,and network switches.Paging speaker system.CAD Display
<br /> monitoring system.Cable management including conduit,back boxes,and surface mount raceways for support of
<br /> existing and new low voltage systems.
