This work shall be performed in accordance with the IDOT Permit contained in Exhibit D and the applicable parts of Section 442 of the IDOT Standard Specifications. 24.03 Measurement and Payment. Pavement removal and replacement will be measured for payment as square yards of patching in place, and the area computed in square yards. The work shall be paid for at the contract unit price for PAVEMENT PATCHING, SPECIAL. Saw cuts, dowel bars, reinforcement bars, and pavement tie bars shall not be measured for payment, but shall be considered as included in the contract unit price for this work.
