The project <br /> was advertised on March 29, 2017 and April 5, 2017, and bids were opened on April 10, 2017. The <br /> results of the letting are as follows (bid tabulation attached): <br /> Bidder Bid Price Compared to Engineer's Est. <br /> Over Under <br /> Dunn Company $678,694.07 (0.57%) <br /> Engineer's Estimate $682,611.85 ------ <br /> Two contractors took out bid packages for the Street Restoration Project,Dunn Company and <br /> Bodine Electric of Decatur. Dunn Company provided the lowest responsible bid at 0.57%below <br /> the engineer's estimate. Dunn Company has successfully completed many jobs of this type for the <br /> City. Following approval of the Mayor and City Council,the bid tabulation will be forwarded to <br /> the Illinois Department of Transportation for final approval in accordance with the rules governing <br /> the disbursement of State Motor Fuel Tax funds. <br /> —2— <br />
